Belie Belcan heads the Belcan Division, also known as the Blanca (white) or Rada. He serves as the general of God's Air Force. Belie Belcan expresses the power of God through whipping up storms, hurricanes, earthquakes, and tsunamis. Belie Belcan is justice personified and the embodiment of God's righteous wraith. He is thunder and lighting. When he strikes the ocean, the dominion of his brother, the mighty Admiral Met Agwe Tawayo, the earth trembles. 

Belie Belcan is a highly elevated Loa and is known to work very closely with the Archangel Michael. Together they hunt down agents of Lucifer on the Astral Realm, chasing legions of demons and impure spirits back into the lowest depths of Hell. Belie Belcan commands the brave Loa of the Belcan nation against malevolent forces and the enemies of Vodou and its adherents.

Belie Belcan's feast day is September 29th. His colors are green and red. He asks for tobacco and then rum. Belie Belcan is consulted for all matters, especially for legal issues, dealing with enemies, and righting wrongs. He should be present during all exorcisms and banishments.

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil; May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; And do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, thrust into Hell Satan and all evil spirits who wander through the world seeking ruination of souls.
